Several other things you should know:

	Gargamel and his cat Azrael are trying to catch the smurfs in all possible ways! In his castle he is always planning something evil to get the smurfs and boils them. Azrael likes the smurfs for diner too!
	Gargamel made the (evil) Smurfette. Papasmurf had 'rebuilt' her into a lovely smurfette and now she lives with the smurfs in her own purple house!
	The smurfs have never been on the moon, even if it looks like it. Papasmurf made the schlips (wildsmurfs) to amuse the smurfs, especially the astrosmurf. His rocket never left earth but the smurfs moved it to a rocky mountain. When the astrosmurf woke up he was in a whole different part of the world!
	Peyo (Pierre Culliford) created the smurfs in 1958! They first appeared in a comic book with Johan and Pewitt as guests. The smurfs became rather popular and got their own stories!
	PVC-Smurfs were first sold in Holland at the BP-gas stations in 1965. They came to the USA in 1978. A few years later they concurred the world !
	The Smurf Collectors Club International (USA) was established in 1986. Sadly, the founder of this Club (Suzanne Lipschitz) past away from us in 2004, far tooooooo young.... :(
